FrameWorks' Deputy Director of Field Practice, Diane Benjamin, featured at Denver Women's Chorus
January 23, 2009 — FrameWorks' Diane Benjamin is also a professional composer. On January 24/25 the 70-member Denver Women's Chorus, led by Artistic Director Mark Zwilling, will premier one of Diane's original choral compositions, entitled Women in War, which the chorus commissioned.
This commission is part of the mission of the Denver Women's Chorus to support female composers and women's music. This piece is written for four part women's chorus and chamber orchestra and takes passionate poems from different female writers and sets them to music.
