Jay'Len Boone serves as Communications Intern at the FrameWorks Institute

Communications Intern

Jay’Len Boone is currently a second-year Masters student at the University of Pennsylvania where he is studying International Development. He graduated from University of Texas at San Antonio in 2020 with a BA in Global Affairs and a secondary BA in Sociology.

Jay’Len is passionate about youth empowerment and global development. Most recently, he served as the 8th United States Youth Observer to the United Nations, advocating across the country for a stronger US-UN partnership and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. In addition to his service as Youth Observer, Jay’Len has worked in the U.S. Agency for International Development and Fair Trade International, where he contributed to projects focused on impact investing and economic development. He is a Global Citizen Curtis Scholar, Cultural Vistas Fellow, and a recipient of the Gates Millennium Scholarship.
