Peace is widely recognized to be good, and yet peacebuilding stands at the periphery of our politics. This brief unpacks this seeming paradox, summarizing key findings from research on public perceptions of peace and peacebuilding. It is part of a broader project that the FrameWorks Institute is conducting to develop strategies to communicate about and build support for peacebuilding.
