Introduction
Welcome to Talking Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention (revised) – a toolkit compendium of research on how Americans think about child development, and how to increase public support for policies that support prevention and intervention policies that reduce child abuse and neglect. Also included are applications materials, based on the research findings, that can help engage the public in understanding early child development as it applies to child abuse and neglect prevention, understanding potential policy directions, and supporting solutions to pressing problems. This toolkit was developed by the FrameWorks Institute for Prevent Child Abuse America, an organization that has led the way in building awareness, providing education and inspiring hope to everyone involved in the effort to prevent the abuse and neglect of our nation’s children. Standard rules governing citation and intellectual property usage apply.
The toolkit was created with generous support from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation
