Reframing Government's Role in Health

July 15, 2026 · 1:00 PM–2:00 PM ET

Event Format: Webinar
Location: Online
Issues: Health

A core tension for health justice is the distance between the ideal role of government and the reality of how government operates. We need good government infrastructure to scale interventions that advance health justice, but Americans (sometimes for good reason) tend to think of government as inefficient, corrupt, and incompetent.

Join us as FrameWorks’ Nico Connolly and Katy Evans share new research on how Americans think about the role of government in health — and what it means for how we might shift those mindsets and advance a new vision of government as an agent of care.

About the Series: The Health Justice Framing Forum is a new series where the FrameWorks team shares timely insights on navigating communications challenges facing the movement for health equity. Through the Health Justice Framing Forum we aim to bring people together to consider evidence that helps us counter harmful rhetoric and build support for fairer, more just systems.
