We are pleased to announce that FrameWorks has recently added four new and incredibly distinguished members to our board of directors. Our new board members bring an extraordinary range of talent and wide diversity of perspectives to our work—from population health and equity to digital media and civic engagement.

Please join us as we welcome:

Sheri Johnson, PhD, Director, Population Health Institute, University of Wisconsin–Madison
Sheri has dedicated her 25+ year career to partnering with children, families, community organizations, and systems to advance health and wellbeing. Awed by the resilience of individuals and communities, she works to remove unfair obstacles and conditions that perpetuate health inequities.

Robert Espinoza, Vice President of Policy, PHI
Robert is a nationally recognized expert on aging, long-term care, workforce, and equity issues. He oversees PHI’s national advocacy, research, and public education work on the direct care workforce, including its strategic direction and federal advocacy.

Sanjiv Rao, PhD
Sanjiv recently completed a nine-year term at the Ford Foundation, where he directed grantmaking for research/systems change in areas including education, community organizing, and democracy reform. Previously, he was executive director of the New York State Network for Youth Success and a researcher for NYU’s Leadership for a Changing World program.

Lori Takeuchi, PhD, Program Director, National Science Foundation
Lori is a learning scientist with 25+ years’ experience as a designer, researcher, and connector in the educational media field. As program director in NSF’s Division of Research on Learning in Formal and Informal Settings, she helps advance the use of emerging technologies for teaching and learning.

Together, their insights and dedication to advancing social justice will be a tremendous asset to FrameWorks’ research and impact in the field. Please join me in welcoming them into our community.
