Khaliah Pitts

Khaliah D. Pitts serves as Director of Engagement Initiatives at FrameWorks Institute. A recent addition to the team, she specializes in community education and engagement as it relates to adopting healthy, culturally appropriate behaviors. Prior to joining FrameWorks, Khaliah worked as a trauma-informed trainer and facilitator. She has consulted with and supported non-profits, community organizations and public institutions in developing culturally-relevant and audience specific outreach, engagement and programming. Khaliah has earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public health from Temple University, where she specialized in epidemiology and biostatistics, engaging in research regarding the impact of cultural acknowledgment and pride on health, self-efficacy and community belonging.
